Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 6, 2026

Lumitide, Inc. (“Lumitide,” “we,” “us”) provides margin reconciliation software for staffing agencies. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to lumitide.com and the Lumitide application (together, the “Service”). Lumitide is operated from the United States.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, work email address, company name, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).

Financial and payroll data you connect. The core of the Service is reconciling your billing against your payroll. When you connect QuickBooks, Gusto, or a similar system — or upload payroll reports or invoice statements — we receive invoice line items, payroll line items, worker names and identifiers, hours, pay rates, bill rates, and related records. We access connected systems with read-only permissions; we cannot create, modify, or delete records in your accounting or payroll systems.

Usage information. We collect standard technical information when you use the Service: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken. We use a small number of cookies, described in our cookie policy.

Communications. If you email us or contact support, we keep the correspondence.

2. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your financial or payroll data to train machine-learning models, build advertising profiles, or benchmark you against other customers.

3. Workers’ personal information

The billing and payroll records you connect include personal information about your workers (names, hours, pay). We process that information solely on your behalf and on your instructions, as a service provider to you. Your agency remains responsible for its own obligations to its workers under applicable law.

4. How we share information

We share information only with:

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to customer data is limited to personnel who need it to operate the Service and is logged. OAuth tokens for connected systems are stored encrypted and scoped read-only. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat your financial data with the care we would want for our own.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your financial and payroll data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or audit purposes. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@lumitide.com.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your state of residence (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws), you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honor these requests regardless of state. To exercise them, email privacy@lumitide.com; we will verify the request and respond within the time required by law. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice in the Service before the changes take effect, and update the effective date above.
